Vaginal Microbiome Profile Swab Test Kit
Vaginal Microbiome Profile Swab Test Kit

At-home swab mapping the bacterial population of the vaginal microbiome.
What this test measures
DNA-based analysis of a self-collected vaginal swab, reporting the bacterial species present and their relative abundance, including *Lactobacillus* species.
Why these markers matter
The vaginal microbiome has its own characteristic population, typically dominated by *Lactobacillus* species, and its composition shifts with cycle phase, hormonal status, antibiotics and other factors. This test describes what's present. It is not a sexually transmitted infection screen and does not test for STIs — if that's your question, it needs a different test and a clinician.
What you get
Kit posted to you with a swab and return packaging. Results in your private dashboard, typically one to two weeks after the lab receives your sample.
Before you collect
Avoid collecting during menstruation, and avoid intercourse, lubricants and vaginal products for 48 hours beforehand. Antibiotics affect results — leave two weeks if possible.
Who this suits
People working with a practitioner on vaginal microbiome questions.

## Flagged for compliance review
Three items in this batch sit further out than anything so far, and I'd want a regulatory view before they go live:
The nine allergy panels ($340–$696).
Food IgG/IgA testing is not accepted by mainstream allergy bodies as a means of identifying food allergy. I've written a standard framing paragraph that states antibodies indicate exposure rather than allergy, that this isn't an allergy test, and that anyone who has had a severe reaction should see a doctor instead. The word "Allergy" nonetheless appears in seven of the nine product titles, which is the residual risk. Recommend renaming to "IgG 240 Complete Food Antibody Panel" and equivalents — clearer and materially safer.
MARCoNS Nasal Swab ($250).
I've said plainly that its clinical significance isn't broadly established and that it's unlikely to be a useful starting point without a practitioner already using that framework. That's honest, and it may read as undermining the product. Your call.
Vaginal Microbiome Profile ($199).
The copy explicitly states it is not an STI screen. Worth keeping — the alternative is someone buying it for the wrong reason.
