Seven markers covering the full cholesterol picture — not just a single number.
Renamed from "Cholesterol (Lipid Studies inc. HDL) Blood Test"
What this test measures
Total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, non-HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, the LDL/HDL ratio and the total cholesterol ratio.
Why these markers matter
"Cholesterol" is usually reported as one number, which flattens something with several parts. HDL and LDL carry cholesterol in different directions. Triglycerides are a separate fat that responds quickly to diet and alcohol. The ratios describe the relationship between them. Two people with the same total cholesterol can have quite different profiles underneath. This panel shows the parts rather than the summary. Timing matters: triglycerides in particular respond to recent meals and alcohol. A 10–12 hour fast gives a cleaner result.
What you get
All seven markers against their reference ranges in your private dashboard, in plain language. Typically a few business days after collection.
Who this suits
People monitoring lipids over time, or wanting more than the single number from a general check.
