Couldn't load pickup availability
At-home stool test using DNA-based PCR to map bacteria, yeasts and parasites, with markers of digestion and gut immune activity.
What this test measures
PCR analysis of a single stool sample reporting the microorganisms present — commensal and beneficial bacteria, opportunistic bacteria, yeasts including Candida species, and parasites — alongside markers of digestive function, absorption and intestinal immune activity.
Why these markers matter
The gut microbiome is the population of microorganisms living in the digestive tract. Its makeup differs considerably between people and shifts with diet, medication, travel, stress and time. Digestive symptoms are common and rarely trace to one cause. Mapping what's present, and how well food is being broken down and absorbed, gives a practitioner something specific instead of trial and error.
What you get
Kit posted to you with instructions and return packaging. Results in your private dashboard, typically around two weeks after the lab receives your sample.
Before you collect
Stop antibiotics and antifungals two weeks beforehand, probiotics and digestive enzymes three days beforehand, unless advised otherwise. Collect Monday to Wednesday, refrigerate, post back same day.
Who this suits
People with ongoing digestive symptoms, or working with a practitioner on a gut-focused plan.
