Alcohol Health Panel: Basic
Alcohol Health Panel: Basic
Couldn't load pickup availability
Eleven blood tests covering blood count, lipids, blood sugar, albumin, thyroid, magnesium and the B vitamins alcohol most affects.
What this panel includes
11 tests covering 33 biomarkers: Active Vitamin B12; Albumin; Fasting Glucose; Full blood count with ESR; HbA1c; hs-CRP; Lipid studies (cholesterol panel); Magnesium; Thyroid Function Test; Vitamin B1 (thiamine); Folate (serum).
Why these markers matter
Regular drinking can show up in red cell size, lipids, blood sugar and B-vitamin status — thiamine (B1) and folate in particular. Seeing these together gives a clear baseline, useful whether you're cutting back and want to track change or simply want to know where you stand. This panel doesn't include liver enzymes; add a Liver Function Test if you want those too.
Before you collect
Some markers in this panel (glucose, insulin and lipids) are best measured after a 10–12 hour fast. Water is fine. Avoid alcohol for 24–48 hours beforehand unless your practitioner advises otherwise.
What you get
Every result is reported in your private dashboard in plain language, against its reference range. Blood results typically arrive within a few business days; kit results can take two to three weeks.
Who this suits
People who drink regularly, or are changing their drinking, and want a baseline to track.
