Four separate gut tests in one pack — microbiome mapping, food antibody testing, intestinal permeability and a SIBO breath test.
What this test measures
Four investigations, each with its own collection: Microbiome mapping — DNA-based analysis of a stool sample. IgG96 food panel — food antibodies from a dried blood spot. Intestinal permeability — the lactulose/mannitol urine challenge. SIBO breath test — hydrogen and methane after a lactulose challenge.
Why these markers matter
Gut symptoms rarely have one cause, and each of these tests answers a different question — what's living there, how the immune system is responding to foods, how the barrier is behaving, and whether fermentation is happening where it shouldn't. Run separately, results arrive weeks apart and are hard to line up. Run together, they describe the same period and can be read as one picture. That's the argument for the pack.
What you get
Four kits posted together with instructions for each. Results in your private dashboard as each component completes — the breath and stool components take longest. Allow three to four weeks for the full set.
Before you collect
This is a substantial undertaking, not a single test. Four collections with different and partly conflicting preparation requirements — the breath test needs a restricted diet and a home day, the food panel needs you eating normally, the stool test needs probiotics stopped. Plan the sequence with your practitioner before you start. Antibiotics must be stopped four weeks before the breath component.
Who this suits
People with complex, persistent digestive symptoms working with a practitioner who intends to use all four results together.
Your next step
Once you have your results, book with a Canwell naturopath, nutritionist or practitioner to talk them through and build a wellness plan that suits you. Book with Canwell
